This flower just grows outside our apartment building. No special care, it just gets rained on every other day and the sun. You could never grow this at home.

We went to dinner at a nice restaurant with some other missionary couples. On the left front, the old guy, you can see hs isn't starving any. The Beautiful Sue Ann. Next to her is Vern Christopherson, worked at the MTC in Provo for 35 years, running it and now serving a mission in the Brazil MTC same job. His wife Jerry. Across from them is Elder Hill the other Area Medical Advisor and his wife Kerma. Next on the far right are the Dille's, Sandy and Larry. He is the nurse at the MTC full time. We actually were in the same ward in San Antonio and Sue remembers the name, but not much else, I of course, con't remember anything from that time.
The people are what makes it a valuable experience. The ones you serve and those you serve with. It is always the people, never the things in life that are valuable. The gospel of the day tells you differently, that things are important, but it is false, and you will never be happy seeking that. You can never achieve happiness by accumulating that which doesn't bring happiness. Happiness comes via relationships. Love makes relationships valuable.
Eternal truth, I'm a doctor I know these things, you can trust me.
